To supply the
resources needed to help meet the
needs of today’s Christian widow. To
encourage, empower and enlighten
widows as they transition into their
new season of life.

To connect, supply and equip,
through referral services, the needs
of the widow.

“Cares of the Widow”
Under the
direction, guidance and leadership
of God’s Word of Encouragement
Ministries,
“Cares of the Widow,”
is a
non-profit, faith based foundation
seeking to help provide the needs of
today’s widow. “Cares of the
Widow,” is built upon biblical
principles with a concentration on
the command of our Lord to assist
those who are truly widows (those
who are all alone and are
dependent). First Timothy 5:16.
The foundation has partnered with
various organizations to help supply
those basic and integral needs of
today’s widow.
Our commitment
and goal is to help the widow in all
aspects of her life. Our vision and
mission is to equip, encourage, and
empower the widow as she transitions
into her new season of life by
helping to strengthen each widow
through the word of God.
Our objective
is to consistently and continually
identify widows through churches,
shelters and other transitional
housing.
What We Do:
We have
partnered with various organizations
that possess the resources we have
identified as those many widows
stand in need of today. “Ask,
and it shall be given
you; seek, and ye
shall
find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7.
